Poem
Hello!
We’re doing poetry in school. I’m not a big fan of poetry…I hate it actually. Just writing it, I don’t mind reading it. There’s this really funny poem called Mulga Bill’s Bicycle by Bango Patterson. I love that one. We learnt it in Primary School
We’re starting on haiku. Here’s some I wrote…
Waiting for the Morning
Darkness, cold breeze
Dew drops before the morning
We wait for the light
Not a sound we hear
Quiet, early in the morn
Waiting for the news

The Best Thing
Food, glorious food!
The second best thing in life!
But…what is the first?
So…tell me what you think?
Until next time…bye!

Clearly you are incorrect in regards to your Haiku poem.
You stated that food was the second best thing and clearly it is the FIRST.
we would DIE!!! wiith out food, without food you wouldnt even be alive right now,
without food you wouldnt have been able to make this BLOG. mm hmm didnt think of that
did you keshia??
And obviously the 2nd best thing is nothing less then a good book and MATHS whoo who

Thanks for leaving a response Alana.
While food is really important (You would die and whatever life you had left would be
pretty miserable without it) I don’t think that it is the most important thing. There are
a lot of things you would die without. You wouldn’t live without your family or friends
for instance now would you? Thought of that?
Ermm…you don’t seriously think I like maths that much, do you? Do you think someone who
spent the last eight years doing advanced maths *shudder* would actually like it enough
to consider it as the second most important thing in the world? I’m not arguing about the
good book though…
Bye!
